About the Kobe K3GL Premium League Hockey Jersey
The best "bang-for-your-buck" jersey in Kobe's lineup.
When Kobe Sportswear initially discontinued the 6200, K3G Amateur, and XJ6 jerseys our office was in deep despair. These were some of our best-selling sweaters for mens league hockey.
That attitude took a complete 180, however, when Kobe introduced the K3GL in 2023. More colours, better fabric, a modern cut/colour...at the same price?! We were instantly in heaven on behalf of our customers.
The K3GL offers the best of many worlds. It scales back the complex sewing of the K3G Pro, which dramatically lowers the price. Compared to the XJ5 and 5200, it's a significant fabric upgrade and also has far more home/away pattern options available for teams that require 2 sets of jerseys.
This also introduces a great entry-level price point for embroidered twill jerseys, if that's your style (all less expensive models of hockey jerseys are far too lightweight for twill).
The K3GL boasts over 45 colours options, far more than any other jersey on the market at or below the same price point.

K3G fabric, Kobe's flagship pro weight fabric (100% polyester).
This fabric is durable and very quick to dry. We have customers who continue to use K3G jerseys they purchased 10+ seasons ago.
It does not shrink when washed. If decorating, we recommend washing inside-out and air drying.
Please note: Colours are meant to be accurate enough to easily identify which team each pattern represents, but the degree of colour accuracy varies by team. Although striping is matched to NHL teams, colours are all a "close match" and not meant to represent authentic, replica jerseys. Officially-licensed replica NHL jerseys utilize many shades of fabric specific to each team.
Kobe Sportswear utilizes a smaller number of colours to keep fabric costs down. These jerseys are purpose-built for recreational/amateur hockey, not for the purpose of souvenirs or replicas. As such, many teams that have slightly different shades of a colour will see Kobe use the same colour for all of them (e.g. Detroit, New Jersey, and Chicago all utilize the same "red". Kobe also utilizes only 8 shades of blue across all jerseys whereas official NHL jerseys utilize well over a dozen blues).
If you are looking for an official replica jersey for collecting purposes we do not recommend this product.
All Kobe K3GL jerseys have a matching K3G Pro Hockey Sock (new style, "mesh" sock using the same fabric as the jersey). Most K3G Pro jerseys also have a corresponding Kobe 9800 Pro knit hockey sock.
Please see the product description for links to the appropriate matching sock(s).
Kobe K3GL premium league hockey jerseys are primarily made abroad in various countries including, but not limited to: China, Vietnam, Cambodia, and Myanmar.
